By Renowned Seattle Luthier David Haxton
This H-00 Guitar is patterned after some of those great old “Depression Era”, guitars that had such impact on what we now call Americana Music. They traveled with Woody Guthrie, were with Robert Johnson at the meeting at the cross roads and with countless other musicians on front porches, around kitchen tables and in honky- tonks. This one is like the 1930's Gibson L-00.

The Haxton retains the look, feel and tone of the original while using the best in contemporary techniques and materials. The result is a guitar that is as much at home with a singer-songwriter as with a straight ahead roots player.
