This Aquila was built it 2012 and has figured maple back, sides and trim, and spruce top. It is a 15 bar Diatonic G/D. Comes with a black case, tuning wrench, fine tuning wrench and a slider strap.
The Aquila model has a larger sound chamber. It is both deeper and longer than a standard autoharp, yet is still easy to get around for play. The bridge is out over the top, rather than butting up near the bottom bridge. These factors result in an instrument with incredibly deep tone, and can be heard when playing alongside other instruments.
The maple used to build this instrument is highly figured "quilt", and is stunning.
